A poorly trained dog is a nuisance and can even be a danger to him and others. A properly trained dog, on the other had, is a wonderful and pleasant companion. In addition to helping the bonds, it can even protect your pet from being hurt if he listens and comes when called.

When training always remember that dogs respond better to positive reinforcement dog screaming and hitting is not performing the task, instead use rewards such as treats and your approval, this makes the task much more enjoyable for both!

There is a common "process" to training, whatever you want it to do. The key is to get the dog to perform the action and just when to give the command for action, then praise the dog and reward him with a treat. After a while, it will catch on and associate the action with the order.

Here are some steps you can use to train your dog with the most basic command sit.

1. The first thing you have to do is to get your puppy or dog to associate the act of sitting with the order. To do this, just hang out with your dog and when he sits give the command "Sit."

2. Achieve the level of dogs allowed to present his reward (treats) quicker to grab a handful of bite-sized treats and get off the ground.

3. Involved, even more than the dogs head. He smells of food and follow your nose. This action will cause him to sit down (or back, but obviously we hope that the action of the session).

When you spend time to train your dog, you get much more than just a dog that does some tricks. He loves doing things with you. You learn to listen when you say his name. He gets used to being with you and do things on their own initiative. A good piece of site training is strengthened. You should plan to spend a couple of minutes each day practicing his "tricks". This type of repetitive reinforcement to help him remember and create a bond between you.
